Help us shape the LTN scheme

The LTN scheme discourages motorised vehicles from travelling through the area, to make it easier and safer for people to walk and cycle or consider other forms of active travel if they can. This can also help reduce road danger while at the same time providing more opportunities for people to be active and spend time outdoors, and meet their neighbours. We’re currently analysing feedback, traffic surveys and monitoring data collected since launching the scheme in August 2020 to help us understand if the scheme should be made permanent and, if so, what it could look like in the Maryland, Forest Gate and South Leytonstone area.

We’re now asking local people to complete this survey to help us understand:

1. What a permanent scheme could look like

2. What further changes the community could benefit from should more funding become available in the future.

This survey will run for at least six weeks (end of August 2021). Please complete this survey and encourage your neighbours to do the same.
